- The Bottling Works -- OPENING SOON-- Displays include early 20th century home furnishings, along with an ice cutting and printing display
- The Blacksmith Shop -- a display of transportation equipment from the 19th & 20th century. Along with a forge and Handmade Blacksmith Tools including The tools that made the tools that carved Mt Rushmore.
The Berlin Area Historical Society is pleased to announce the publishing of the book "The Story of the Mascoutin Indians and of their Massacre" written by E.L. Runals in the late 1800's. Taken from his original manuscript.
E. Runals was a 19th century lawyer that researched the original French fort commander's documents and those of noted explorers and missionaries to arrive at his conclussions about the 1712 massacre of the Mascoutin and Fox Indians at Fort Detroit. The Berlin Area was home to the Mascoutins for over 90 years.
The price of the book is $10.00 with a $2.50 shipping and handling fee.The Society plans to erect a monument to this lost tribe with the proceeds from this book

October 18, 2008 Cemetery Ghost Walk. Take a guided lantern lit walk thru Oakwood Cemetery and learn about some of the past residents, their lives and their secrets. Meet some of them in person along the way. Watch this site for more information or call the number listed.
Museums are open in summer on the 2nd & 4th Sundays from June thru August. From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. OR always by appointment.
Museums are Free, Donations are always accepted.
The Berlin Area Historical Society is a 501(3)(c)tax exempt organization.
We also have an Endowment set up through the Green Lake County/Ripon Community fund administered by the Oshkosh Community Fund.
The Club meets at 7:00p.m. on the 2nd Wednesdays of the month except for July & August at the Berlin Senior Center,142 Water St. Berlin, WI.
We are always looking for artifacts, books, papers, or photographs of Berlin and the surronding area.
